A different way of
communicating
In
today’s world individuals have their own language in which they communicate. Each
language describes the history
and vital importance of their culture and its many variations. According to Jamila Lyiscott, there are
three ways in which people speak English. Our own slang makes us the person we are and it define us and
are culture. In reference to “3 ways to speak English” Jamila lyiscott, mentions let there be no
hesitation this is not a promotion of ignorance this is a linguistic
celebration. She embraces the language she grew
up speaking. I grow up in a Paraguayan speaking home with different pronunciations of
words. Never have i felt ashamed of my linguistic language. I can relate with her because I used to get corrected at school by teachers but that didn't change my way of communicating. Speaking differently does not make you less it makes you realize the importance of knowing how to speak three languages and how its useful in your daily life.
